The 357-foot high Liebherr LR 1300 SX crane was used to erect the steel plate girder bridge from Kerens to Parsons. To complete the erection, crews used pins to facilitate fit up and used bolts to fill splice holes. The 1,134-ton bridge is 620 feet long and 84 feet, six inches wide. It is the first bridge of five erected for this project. Once completed, the bridge will carry four lanes of traffic, two in each direction.
