White River Basin Part A

Completed in 1982 by Mole Constructors, the White River Basin Part A project involved approximately 4,500 linear feet of 48-inch tunnel constructed using a 63-inch Scott Tunnel Boring Machine. The tunnel was supported by rock and bolt (R&B) reinforcement, with reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) utilized. Excavation traversed through sands and clays, reaching depths from 30 feet to 45 feet. After construction, cellular concrete annulus backfill grouting was applied.
