Completed in 2013 by American Bridge, the Watson Bridge Repair Project involved demolishing and removing the existing deck, traffic railing, and overlay. A new concrete deck with pre-stressed slabs, traffic railing, and substructure repairs were installed. New concrete approach slabs were also constructed with an asphalt overlay. Traffic was maintained on one side using MOT devices and traffic signals during construction.
