Completed in 2027 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the Water Treatment Plant No. 1 Improvements project consisted of reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing water treatment plant. The scope of work consists of repairs to sedimentation basin concrete walls #1, #2 and #3 (426 linear feet repairs to cracks, leaks, and voids / 4,394 square foot of stucco removal). Additional work includes improvements to the east and west filter buildings that entails replacement of valves, surface wash pump systems, clearwell pump systems, piping improvements, and utility relocation.
