Completed in 2014 by American Bridge, the Walt Whitman Bridge Anchorage Dehumidification project involved installing dehumidification enclosures around the main cables inside the bridge’s anchorages. Work included installing the dehumidification system, galvanized wire rope with tensioning devices, polyester fabric membrane, sealing seams, adjusting wire rope for final geometry, and testing the system, along with miscellaneous metal work.
