Completed in 2000 by American Bridge, the Volusia County Marine Maintenance Facility project involved constructing 360′ of heavy “Z” steel bulkhead, concrete cap, fender piles, rock revetment, mitigation area, and dredging. The project also included site development, turbidity monitoring, and site restoration to create a marine industrial facility at S.E. Volusia County Marine Commerce Park.
