Completed in 1998 by Mole Constructors, the Village Creek Peak Flow Handling Contract No. 2 project consisted of approximately 3,319 linear feet of rock tunnel with a 120-inch cast-in-place final liner. The tunnel was excavated using a 74-inch Lovat Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) and supported using internal steel ribs with wood lagging.
