Completed in 2009 by Southland Contracting, the US ESB Chilled Water Distribution Project consisted of the excavation of approximately 2,400 linear feet of 52-inch tunnel by Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) for 42-inch chilled water line. Work includes two 24 ft by 24 ft shafts with depths of 40 ft and 60 ft.
