Completed in 2000 by Johnson Bros. Corporation, the US 27/17-92 Haines City Bridge – Grade Separation and Interchange project consisted of the major roadway and intersection reconstruction with bridge construction. Scope of work included phased construction; maintenance of traffic; erosion/sedimentation control; storm water management; prestressed concrete piling; major falsework; sub and superstructure; mass grading/embankment; retaining walls; bank stabilizations; approach slab and roadway; curbing; sidewalks; guardrail system; and drainage. We saved time and money using chance anchors in lieu of grouted anchors on the retaining walls.
