Completed in 1970 by American Bridge, the University of Indiana Events Center project consisted of an irregularly shaped enclosed stadium measuring 331′ x 208′ x 179′ high. The structure featured shop and field-welded intersecting steel arches with welded roof trusses between the arches and a cable-supported roof.
