Universal – Canal Bridge – Pedestrian Bridge Extension

Completed in 2015, the Universal – Canal Bridge – Pedestrian Bridge Extension project consisted of the continuation of the Pedestrian Garden Walk, involving a 10 foot by 135-foot bridge with a 73-foot prefabricated truss bridge over an existing canal. Scope included clear & grub pathway through existing heavily landscaped area. Cast in place sidewalk, retaining walls, footers, piers, caps and elevated deck. Installation of prefabricated bridge. Installation of handrail, lighting, irrigation and landscaping to beautify the walkway while following ADA requirements.
