Completed in 1930 by American Bridge, the Union Pacific Railroad Suisun Bay Bridge project consisted of a seven-span through truss railway bridge with one vertical lift span, including machinery and operator’s houses, constructed for the Southern Pacific Railroad and now owned by Union Pacific Railroad.
