Truman Harbor Repairs, Naval Air Station Key West

Completed in 2004 by American Bridge, the Truman Harbor Repairs at Naval Air Station Key West involved structural repairs to the Navy Annex berthing facility. Work included reconstructing the south quay wall with new steel sheet piling, concrete encapsulation, and new moorings. Additional repairs included pier 8 restoration, removal and replacement of delaminated concrete, installation of 40 pile jackets, and replacement of the approach span, electrical, and mechanical systems. Mole pier repairs involved bulkhead cap replacement, installation of drill shafts for bollards and dolphins, dredging, and rebuilding the mole tip with steel sheet piling and concrete. All mechanical and electrical systems were replaced with stainless steel piping, substations, and power stations.
