Completed in 2004 by Johnson Bros. Corporation, Treasure Island Causeway East and West Bridge Replacement project included the construction of two flat slab bridges along with associated road work at the Treasure Island Causeway. The bridges were constructed with 24-inch piling with footer tubs to alleviate construction of footers underwater. Bridge decks were precast post tensioned deck slabs with poured deck topping. All construction took place from barges.
