Completed in 1971 by American Bridge, the Tehachapi Tunnels project consisted of fabricating and installing 16,574 lineal feet of welded steel pipe discharge lines from the Tehachapi Pumping Station, including 9,467′ of 12′ 6″ inside diameter pipe and 7,107′ of 14′ inside diameter pipe.
