Completed in 1963 by American Bridge, the Steelworkers Building Gateway 5 (formerly IBM Building) project consisted of fabricating and erecting a unique 13-story office building in the Gateway Center complex in downtown Pittsburgh. The structure used T-1 steel in select areas (100,000 PSI), with a diamond frame truss exterior.
