SR45 (US441) Circus Bridge over the Intercoastal Waterway

Completed in 2005, the SR45 (US41) Circus Bridge over the Intercoastal Waterway project was a $35M Major Bascule Bridge Replacement with new control tower and three miles of new roadway that was completed early. The project scope included roadway realignments, cofferdams, pile driving, post-tensioned superstructure, structural steel, cast-in-place (CIP) concrete, barrier walls, flexible paving, retaining walls, slope paving, embankment, fender systems, , Rubble Rip Rap, retaining walls, underground utilities, drainage, maintenance of traffic (MOT), embankment, drilled shafts, auger cast piles, sound barrier wall, concrete piles, structural steel erection, machinery and hydraulic drive systems, control building, and demolition.
