“Design and construction of a 1,600 linear feet high-rise bridge consisting of two 12 foot lanes with six-foot inside shoulders, 10 foot outside shoulders and eight foot sidewalks. This bridge is 74 feet over the Intracoastal Waterway and required environmental mitigation for an established rookery. Major features include 60foot diameter drilled shaft foundations, precast 78-inch Florida I-Beams, cast-in-place substructure and superstructure, fender system replacement, demolition of existing fishing piers, MSE wall construction, landscaping, roadway lighting, seawall construction, rip-rap scour protection, roadway drainage system, stabilized subgrade, base, and flexible paving.”
