SR 600 Reedy Creek Bridge and Roadway

Completed in 2001 by Johnson Bros. Corporation, the SR 600 Reedy Creek Bridge and Roadway project consisted of major roadway and low-level bridge construction through environmentally sensitive Cypress Swamp. Scope of work included Design-Build; maintenance of traffic (MOT); erosion/sedimentation control; prestressed concrete piling; major falsework and trestle placement; sub and superstructure; embankment; barrier walls; retaining walls; bank stabilizations; approach slab and roadway; guardrail systems; rip rap rubble; gabions; and drainage.
