Completed in 2007 by American Bridge, the Smurfit Stone Scrubber Foundation project involved demolishing existing foundations, relocating utilities, and constructing a new pile-supported foundation for the No. 8 Wet Scrubber. The work included 143 steel pipe and helical pull-down piles, with 787CY of concrete placed.
