Completed in 1965 by American Bridge, the Santa Rosa Sound Bridge project consisted of a thirteen-span bridge, including ten spans of AASHTO Type 3 prestressed concrete girders totaling 828 feet, and a three-span continuous plate girder section measuring 145 feet, 200 feet, and 145 feet.
