Completed in 2007, the SR 414 54-inch DIP Utilities Relocation project consisted of the improvements to the 54-inch water main along S.R. 414 (John Land Apopka Expressway).The project consisted of the total reinstallation of 54-inch water main system that included open-cut installation; 54-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP); tapping sleeves; valves & reducers; 72-inch steel casing; blow-off valves; removal of existing 54-inch DIP system by jacking & boring steel casing with pipe.
