Completed in 2013 by Southland Contracting, the S. I35 Onion Creek Wastewater Interceptor – Rinard to Slaughter Project consisted of the installation of approximately 5,024 linear feet of tunnel for 54-inch Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer Mortal (FRPM) carrier pipe, 63 linear feet of adit tunnels, 204 linear feet of 24-inch casing, three finished access manholes, two work shafts, one connecting shaft, decommissioning of one lift station, two connections to existing underground pipelines and manholes, refurbishment of an existing wet well and various at-grade civil facilities.
