Completed in 1923 by American Bridge, the Rondout Bridge project consisted of double-track spans including one 270′ through pin-connected span, one 143′ deck lattice span, and eighteen deck plate girder spans ranging from 10′ to 77′-6″ in length. The total steel weight was 6,005,000 pounds, and the falsework utilized over 2,000,000 feet of timber.
