Total length 2,000 ft, consisting of 69 plate-girder spans. Maximum height 175 ft; alignment, square. Weight 2,750 tons. It was built in 1906 and stretches across the Richland Creek Valley in Greene County, Indiana. When the Tulip Trestle was originally built, it was ranked the longest rail trestle in the U.S. and the third-longest in the world.
