Regional Carrizo Program: Water Delivery Pipeline Project

The Regional Carrizo Program: Water Delivery Pipeline Project, completed in 2014 by Oscar Renda Contracting, involved the installation of multiple sizes of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes, including 36-inch, 16-inch, and 12-inch pipes. This comprehensive project included the deployment of dual gang fiber optic conduit, along with corresponding hand holes and pull boxes, and the addition of marking tape and identification devices to ensure proper documentation and safety. The scope also covered the installation of large-diameter steel casings—48-inch, 36-inch, and 24-inch—to support pipeline crossings under various roadways, which provided durability and additional protection in high-traffic areas. The project required the setup of combination air valve assemblies, along with the necessary appurtenances for efficient pressure management and maintenance. For safety and operational traceability, the installation included marking tape, tracer wire, and pipeline markers. Hydrostatic testing was conducted on the pipeline to verify its integrity and ensure it met all necessary standards for long-term use and reliability.
