Completed in 1999 by American Bridge, the Providence Place Mall project involved erecting 22,000 tons of structural steel and 8,000 tons of precast decking for an urban shopping center. It included eight adjoining buildings, a three-story mall, and an eight-story, 4,500-car parking garage on a 13.2-acre site, spanning the AMTRAK mainline and a river with trusses and deep girders.
