Completed in 1964 by American Bridge, the P&LE Bridge No. 7.80 project consisted of replacing the superstructure of Pittsburgh & Lake Erie’s 753′ RR bridge over the Monongahela River, including fabricating 3 trusses, 2 girders, and performing demolition, repairs, and installation of rails, track, and deck timber.
