Ouachita River Swing Span Bridge Rehabilitation

Completed in 2004, the Ouachita River Swing Span Bridge Rehabilitation project consisted of the replacement of the 100-year-old swing span bridge in the center of town on the Ouachita River. Float out old bridge, demo piers and caps, drill 60-inch shafts for new piers, build new caps, set new spans that were constructed on barges, pour new decks, rails, etc.
