Completed in 2026 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the North End Sewage Treatment Plant (NEWPCC) Upgrade: Headworks Facilities project consisted of new headworks facility that entails construction of raw sewer pump station, microtunnel extension of existing interceptor sewers, grit removal system, main control room, fine screens and compactors, and a plant emergency generator facility. Scope of work includes shaft excavation, earthwork, tunneling, driving piles, secant piles, piping, mechanical, process electrical, formwork, concrete, civil work.
