Completed in 2001 by American Bridge, the New Lots Line Elevated Transit project involved rehabilitating 12,672 LF of elevated track in Brooklyn. Work included steel repairs, joint rehabilitation, column strengthening, track and roadbed replacement, station upgrades, concrete fender reconstruction, lead paint removal, and electrical work. All steel replacements were completed during scheduled track outages, ensuring minimal disruption to the busy No. 3 subway line. American Bridge self-performed structural steel work, coordinating with multiple agencies and businesses to maintain operations and traffic flow.
