Completed in 1983 by American Bridge, the Mid Continent Tower project consisted of renovating a 16-story historic office building and adding a 20-story cantilevered tower above it. Work included structural steel, new terra cotta façade, and complete building systems upgrades. The upper tower is supported by five two-story trusses that cantilever 40′ over the original structure without contact.
