Completed in 2012 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the Medina River Sewer Outfall Segment 1 Project consisted of the installation of approximately 6,136 linear feet of 66-inch FRP, 25,156 linear feet of 96-inch FRP sewer pipeline, of which 941 linear feet were installed by 96-inch tunnel. Construction of 2 concrete siphon structures. Traffic control and flagging service associated with work near the siphon structures. Scope of work included, clearing, grading, excavation for pipeline installation, structural concrete placement, rip rap placement and final restoration.
