Completed in 1993 by American Bridge, the McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) Modifications – SLC 2W project involved raising the Mobile Service Tower (MST) by 14 feet, adding a new floor, reinforcing the structure, removing two cranes, installing 5T and 20T cranes, replacing hydraulics, extending Nitrogen purge lines, and upgrading electrical systems for the Delta Rocket launch complex. American Bridge was chosen for its expertise and local experience. Our team developed a unique jacking rig to raise the tower, saving over $100,000 and reducing the project duration.
