Madison Street Bridge

Completed in 1994 by American Bridge, the Madison Street Bridge project involved rehabilitating the structural, mechanical, and electrical components of a double leaf trunnion bascule bridge in Chicago. Work included machinery refurbishment, floor system replacement, lead paint abatement, repainting, and installation of a new fender system. The project was completed within a tight schedule during the Lyric Opera’s off-season.
