Completed in 2011 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the M244B Emergency Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project consisted of the replacement of approximately 4,000 linear feet of existing 36-inch RCP with 30-inch to 34-inch outer diameter HDPE pipe via sliplining and open cut. Sliplining of approximately 1,100 linear feet submerged section of the project with a known pipe breach without dewatering. Our marine experience and dive team communication enabled the team to successfully complete this risky project. Utilization of barges, tugboats, work boats and divers. Traffic control, barricades and flagging service for all work associated within the roadways.
