Built by American Bridge Company at the Ambridge Manufacturing Plant in Ambridge, PA. Launched June 2, 1944. Commissioned USS LST-675 on June 24, 1944. During World War II USS LST-675 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. Participated in two campaigns including Luzon operation (Lingayen Gulf landings, January 9, 1945) and the Okinawa Gunto operation (Assault and occupation of Okinawa Gunto, April 1 to May 2, 1945). USS LST-675 earned two battle stars for World War II service. USS LST-675 suffered severe damage due to enemy action at Okinawa, April 4, 1945 and was deemed unsalvagable and abandoned. Decommissioned on August 25, 1945. Struck from the Naval Register on September 17, 1945. Final Disposition, fate unknown.
