Completed in 2006, the London Ave Canal Floodwall Reconstruction – Katrina Emergency Work Bridge project was an emergency work construction project that consisted of the demolition and replacement of floodwall along London Ave Canal in New Orleans. This project was a part of Katrina Emergency Work efforts to fix the damage left by the Hurricane. The project included cofferdams, pile driving, cast-in-place (CIP) concrete, Rip Rap rubble, gabions, erosion control and turbidity, retaining walls, etc.
