Completed in 1929 by American Bridge, the Lake Champlain Bridge project consisted of a 1,950’, 14-span crossing of Lake Champlain, including a 434’ arch main span with 290’ flanking spans, two continuous spans of 225’ and 270’, a simple span, and eight deck plate girder viaduct approach spans.
