Completed in 2006, the Kapok Wetland & Floodplain Restoration Project Construction consisted of the redevelopment and construction of a metro park while rehabbing drainage area in downtown area. Reconstruct ponds, and lift stations, utilities, drainage, dewatering, sodding, excavation, pedestrian bridge, retention ponds, wetlands mitigation with plantings, trails, etc.
