Completed in 1975 by American Bridge, the Kansas City Convention Center project consisted of erecting a 300′ x 700′ convention center. The walls were formed by inverted steel triangles, each 45′ tall. Trusses spanned the 300′ dimension, leaving the entire space column-free.
