Completed in 1968 by American Bridge, the John Hancock Center project consisted of fabrication and erection of a 100-story building with a tapered shape, having a base of 165′ x 265′ and measuring 100′ x 160′ at the roof. Erection was performed using four AB S-2 derricks on custom-designed AB creeper frames.
