Completed in 1991 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the Jefferson Avenue Relief Tunnel project consisted of 10,500-foot-long 96-inch tunnel for 72-inch fiberglass reinforced pipe with sewer access and meter structures at average depth of 80 feet deep at approximately 10,000 linear feet from one shaft.
