Completed in 2024 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the Integrated Pipeline (IPL) Section 19 TXDOT Tunnel Crossing project consisted of tunnel excavation crossing under Texas DOT highways and water line installation. Scope of work includes excavating 2,175 linear feet of ten different tunnel crossings 9-foot 5-inch in diameter (five tunnels with liner plate support and five tunnels with steel casing support), 5,412 linear feet of 84-inch water line, installation of valves and related appurtenances (including pipe encasement), tunnel grouting, cathodic protection, paving driveways, fences, gates and other miscellaneous improvements.
