Completed in 1974 by American Bridge, the Independent Square project consisted of a 37-story office building with 39 levels. The basement to the 2nd floor dimensions were 218′ x 288′, and from the 2nd to the 8th floors, the building sloped into the tower, which measured 97′ x 167′ to the roof.
