High Roller Chain Fall Platform – Fab

Completed in 2013 by American Bridge, the High Roller Chain Fall Platform – Fab project involved the erection of the world’s tallest observation wheel, the 550-foot (168m) High Roller in Las Vegas, developed by Caesars Entertainment. American Bridge’s scope included the supply and erection of the 469-foot (143m) diameter wheel, mounted on a fixed spindle supported by four inclined steel legs and a transverse brace. The project involved the complex assembly of a hub and spindle unit, erection of tubular steel rim sections with radial struts, and incremental launching using a custom Hydraulic Rotating Mechanism. Key materials were sourced globally, with engineering performed by American Bridge’s Coraopolis and Las Vegas teams and all site erection executed by AB skilled labor.
