Corporation, the Harrison Industrial Canal Bascule Bridge Replacement was a major Bascule Bridge/Causeway Project that included all roadway work, maintenance of traffic (MOT), barrier walls; erosion/sedimentation control; pavement removal; clearing & grubbing; demolition of existing structures; embankment; storm water system; curb & gutter; sidewalk; sodding; PCC; signalization (signing & marking); lighting; construction of 2 new double leaf 220 ft bascule bridges; all bridge construction off barges. Also, demolition of existing bridge and control house. This project was completed 2 months ahead of schedule.
