Completed in 1908 by American Bridge, the Hakonarstadir Bridge project consisted of the fabrication of a 90′ pony truss for a roadway bridge over the Jökulsá River in Eastern Iceland. The bridge is a 9′ high through truss designed by American Bridge. It was completely restored in 2008 and is the oldest bridge in Iceland.
