American Bridge was awarded the contract to rehabilitate the Haddam Swing Bridge that carries Route 82 over the Connecticut River. AB’s scope includes the supply and installation of deck on two of the four spans. AB will also replace machinery components, rehabilitate and overhaul the operating house, perform structural steel repairs, and replace components of the four spans. Also included is submarine cable installation, approach earthwork, and sidewalk installation.
