Completed in 2009 by Southland Contracting, the Govalle 2 – Harpers Branch Area Wastewater Line Improvements Project consisted of the excavation of approximately 2,050 linear feet of 52-inch tunnel by Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), 4 shaft constructions with depths between 40 foot and 50 foot, 10 sanitary sewer manholes including one vortex manholes.
